Our Mission

At Do Good Rescue, our mission goes beyond saving lives—we're working to break the cycle of suffering for Romania’s homeless dogs. Through rescue, rehabilitation, rehoming we give abandoned and abused animals a second chance. We are also committed to local spay and neuter efforts to prevent suffering at its source.

Partners

is a UK-registered charity dedicated to giving Romanian street dogs a second chance at life. Deeply committed to reducing suffering and overpopulation, they partner with us to improve living conditions at our shelter, fundraise for medical emergencies, organize our international voluteers and to provide free community spay/neuter programs. Their compassion and hands-on support help us create real, lasting change for Romania’s dogs.

is a German animal welfare charity passionately committed to rescuing and rehoming dogs and cats from shelters in Romania and Bulgaria. They provide vital support through emergency care, sterilisation programmes and the promotion of “Adopt – don’t shop” values. With unwavering compassion and grassroots dedication, they help transform vulnerable animals into cherished companions and strengthen our shared mission to protect animals in need.

is a Dutch foundation dedicated to helping homeless and shelter dogs in Romania through sterilisation initiatives, fostering and adoption mediation in the Netherlands. They focus on sustainable aid—working both on the ground in Romania and with adopters abroad—to ensure every dog has a chance for a safe, loving home. Their partnership helps us extend our impact and reach more dogs into forever families.

is a UK-based charity on a mission to positively impact one million children and dogs by 2025. Through their “Children helping dogs – dogs helping children” approach, they deliver global programmes that pair rescued dogs with therapy roles in schools, educate communities on compassion for animals, and support dog re-homing efforts in places like Romania. Their work complements ours by extending impact beyond the shelter walls into the wider world.

Wunderdog Magazine is an independent UK-based dog magazine celebrating rescue stories and the special bond between people and their dogs. With every issue, they share inspiring tales of “underdogs” turned “wonderdogs” and support animal welfare by donating 10 % of each cover price to charities. Their platform amplifies the voices of rescues, shelters and adopters—making them a natural and meaningful partner in our mission.

C.I.C. is an independent UK-based rescue organisation focused on bringing dogs from Romania to loving homes in the UK. They work with a trusted network of rescuers and professional transport partners to ensure every dog they rehome receives thorough behavioural support and ongoing adopter backup — so that no one is ever left to handle a rescue alone.
